In Salamanca time stopped two hundred years ago, when the first Mennonites came to Mexico in search of their place on earth. Here everything is predetermined, and the lives of the descendants repeat the lives of their ancestors. A private story here is only a part of family history, and one man’s destiny tells us about the destiny of any other. While the hero of the film recalls his childhood in search of the right answer to the most important question of all his life, days, months, and years slowly go by in Salamanca.
Ruslan Fedotow was born in Mahilioŭ, Belarus. In 2012 he graduated as a cameraman from the Academy of Arts in Minsk. Since 2013 he has been a student at the cinematography department in the Moscow School of New Cinema.
