Director of Zhalanash - An Empty Shore, DOCU/SHORT
Marcin Sauter is a photographer, cinematographer and film director. Born in 1971 in Bydgoszcz, Poland. A member of the Association of Polish Art Photographers, he has had several dozen individual exhibitions of his photography. He teaches at the Andrzej Wajda Master School of Film Directing, and has established the Bydgoszcz Newsreel foundation. His adventure with cinema started in 1997 when he cooperated with Maciej Cuske on the feature film What Do You Think About It, Gałuszko? Then he continued with documentaries such as The Travelling Cinema, North from Calabria and Hakawati.

The festival pass gives access to the rich Docudays UA offline programme, namely the best documentaries from around the world and meetings with their authors. The 20th Docudays UA will take place on 2–8 June 2023.
2022 pass holders who did not use them during the Docudays UA Special Edition last year can receive a pass for the 20th festival free of charge. If the pass has been used, you can get a 50% discount. From 30 May: Pass price: UAH 1,200. Student pass: UAH 700.
