TICKETS

 

TICKETS REQUIRED FOR…

 

All film screenings. Ticket prices vary between UAH 50 and 90 for different events.

 

Screenings take place between 10:00 and 23:00. Venues: “Zhovten”, “Lira”, “Kyiv” and “Boomer” cinemas, IZONE Creative Community.

 

The ticket holder may occupy any seat, except for those reserved by the festival. A single ticket grants access to a single event to one visitor.

 

NO TICKETS REQUIRED FOR…

 

- All IZONE events,

- DOCU/CLASS events,

- Human rights program events and the “Living Library”.

 

Guests do not need to obtain a ticket to access these events. Please note that some events may require registration or accreditation – details are mentioned in the program.

 

Access to the opening and closing ceremonies is by invitations only.

SPECIAL OFFERS

 

FREE TICKETS FOR PENSION HOLDERS, SCHOOL STUDENTS, ATO VETERANS

 

A free ticket can be obtained at the ticket office by holders of relevant valid ID. Please note that a single ticket will be issued. Tickets for several events taking place at the same time cannot be obtained. Special offer tickets are available no earlier than one day before the show. Valid ID will have to be presented upon entering the screening.

 

50% DISCOUNT FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

 

Valid student ID will have to be presented at the ticket office. Please note that a single ticket will be issued. Tickets to several events taking place at the same time cannot be obtained. Valid ID will have to be presented upon entering the screening.

 

FREE SCREENINGS

 

Selected screenings may be free of charge (this will be indicated in the program). Viewers will have to obtain free tickets at the ticket office or online. A single ticket is issued to one guest. Please note that all screenings under the IZONE human rights program are free of charge and do not require a ticket.

 

FESTIVAL PASSES

 

Those wishing to devote themselves to the festival fully will benefit from a Festival Pass. Passes are valid for all festival screenings between March 23 and 29. Please note that Passes are invalid on March 30 (“audience day”).

 

Pass holders may book a seat online or obtain a paper ticker at the ticket office. To enter the screening, the Pass holder may present the paper ticket or their Pass badge.

 

Two kinds of Pass are on offer:

 

WEEKLY PASS

 

Available at:

- the docudays.ua website;

- festival ticket offices starting March 14.

 

Prices:

- February 5 to March 3 – UAH 700

- March 4 to 29 – UAH 900.

 

Allows:

- Access to all screenings between March 23 and 29, except for events requiring registration;

- To receive a single ticket per screening;

- To book seats online before the festival starts: up to 5 tickets starting March 14;

- To book seats online or at the ticket office one day ahead of the show starting March 22.

 

Limitations:

- Pass holders cannot obtain tickets to several events taking place at the same time.

 

DAILY PASS

 

Available at:

- festival ticket offices starting March 14.

 

Price: UAH 300.

 

How it works: the Pass applies to the whole day once a ticket has been obtained with its use.

 

Allows:

- Access to all festival venues, except for events requiring registration.

- To receive a single ticket per screening;

- To receive up to six free tickets per day.

 

Limitations:

- Pass holders cannot obtain tickets to several events taking place at the same time.

 

SPECIAL OFFER FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

 

A discount applies to university students. Weekly Student Passes cost UAH 500, Daily Passes are available for UAH 150.

 

Valid student ID must be presented at the ticket office to obtain a Student Pass. Please be ready to present ID upon entering the screening.

 

FESTIVAL ACCREDITATION

 

Available to:

- invited guests and participants;

- media (find out more about accreditation here);

- everyone actively engaged in filmmaking in Ukraine and abroad (find out more about the Film Industry Pass here).

 

Allows:

- Access to all screenings between March 23 and 29, except for events requiring registration;

- To receive a single ticket per screening;

- To book seats online before the festival starts: up to 5 tickets starting March 14;

- To book seats online or at the ticket office one day ahead of the show starting March 22;

- Should a badge be lost, the holder may apply for a replacement, presenting valid ID to the Accreditation Service.

 

Limitations:

- Pass holders cannot obtain tickets to several events taking place at the same time.

- All festival badges are personalized and must not be handed over.

- Should a personalized badge be used by a person other than the holder, it shall be withdrawn by the administration/security service. The withdrawn badge cannot be retrieved.

 

CINEMA RULES OF CONDUCT

 

These apply to all festival locations.

 

1/ Please take your seat 10 minutes before the start of the show. Should viewers be more than 10 minutes late, festival staff may deny them access to the show.

 

2/ “Happy minutes” offer the chance for Festival Pass and badge holders to enter a show without obtaining a ticket. Access is granted by festival staff at the entrance on a first-come-first-served basis. Each cinema hall will have a ‘queue start’ spot for “happy minutes” visitors.

 

3/ The festival organizers reserve the right to cancel a guest’s ticket should he/she violate festival rules or act in a way that may cause harm to property, is offensive and inappropriate towards other guests, festival and cinema staff.

 

4/ Unauthorized photography and video recording during screenings are strictly forbidden in accordance with current legislation.

 

5/ We take care of your comfort and safety during screenings. Therefore, no food or drinks in non-leak proof containers allowed. Exceptions are for bottles of water and thermoses.
