Sonja (Blagojević) Djekić was born in 1980 in Belgrade, where she works and lives today. She holds a MA degree in Film and TV Directing from the Faculty of Drama Arts in Belgrade. Sonja has been passionately working for over a decade on her documentary films, acting in multiple roles (Joe Goes to Serbia, 2008; KOSMA, 2013; Speleonaut/Under The Stone Sky, 2018). These films have won 20 awards and been entered in 80 festivals.
Sonja has also been actively involved in several documentary film festivals in Serbia acting as artistic director, selector, producer and workshop coordinator: Martovski, Magnificent 7, Grafest. She founded the KEVA Visual Research Association in 2018, striving to offer different and challenging structures and narrative arcs, while reaching for more complex creative as well as ethical goals.
The festival pass gives access to the rich Docudays UA offline programme, namely the best documentaries from around the world and meetings with their authors. The 20th Docudays UA will take place on 2–8 June 2023.
2022 pass holders who did not use them during the Docudays UA Special Edition last year can receive a pass for the 20th festival free of charge. If the pass has been used, you can get a 50% discount.
