Docudays UA opens the industry accreditation for those who actively work in documentary filmmaking in Ukraine and around the world. With industry accreditation, you get an opportunity for networking with the international and Ukrainian film community, access to lectures and masterclasses by leading European professionals, access to pitchings and the entire film programme of the Festival.

DOCU/PRO PROFESSIONAL EVENTS PROGRAMME IN 2022

UKRAINIAN DOC PREVIEW is a showcase of feature-length documentaries at the stage of production / postproduction. The participants present 15-minute video fragments of upcoming films to international experts. This year, the Ukrainian Doc Preview showcase will be held on 26 March. Ukrainian Doc Preview, organized by Docudays UA and the Ukrainian Institute for three years now, will take place online this year on 26 March.

CIVIL PITCH 2.0: for the second time, we have launched a platform for the interaction of documentary filmmakers and public activists to create short documentary films which create solidarity and encourage change. The 12 selected projects will be presented during the festival. As a result of the pitching, 4 winning projects will receive funding for film production and mentorship support from leading international professionals.

DOCU/PRO CLASSES: during the festival, we traditionally offer you to attend masterclasses by leading international and Ukrainian professionals who will share their experience in the processes of project development, distribution and sales. This year, we will focus not only on feature-length films, but also on shorts.

TERMS OF APPLICATION 

Industry accreditation can be given to directors, producers, cinematographers, distributors, festival programmers, students of film schools, and everyone who actively works in the film industry in Ukraine and abroad.

This year, Docudays UA will be held in a hybrid format and all DOCU/PRO events are planned at festival offline locations. Please take into account that access to all offline festival events will be possible upon presenting a valid green vaccination certificate, recovery certificate or a negative PCR test result or express antigen test result (valid for 72 hours).

We closely monitor the epidemiological situation in the country. If it gets worse, we will keep you informed regarding the format of all the events of the DOCU/PRO programme and safe conditions for attending them.
