Catalogue of the Ukrainian Documentary

Regulations

Docudays UA is launching the call for applications to the 6th Catalogue of the Ukrainian Documentary, which presents Ukrainian documentary films and film projects, production companies, studios, film festivals and non-fiction film distributors every year.

From now on, the Catalogue will be published online on the docudays.ua website. It is an open information base which will be updated three times a year. Traditionally, Docudays UA will work on promoting the Ukrainian documentary and introduce it to colleagues at international film festivals — in Leipzig, Jihlava, Amsterdam. The online format will allow us to integrate the Catalogue into online Docudays UA events, to spread information among festival partners and film professionals.

The 6th Catalogue of the Ukrainian Documentary will be published in October 2020. It will include films and film projects produced in 2019–21, as well as projects that are currently at the stage of development and production. In addition, it will include information about independent production companies, producers, film and TV studios which produce documentary films, post-production studios, film festivals and non-fiction film distributors in Ukraine.

Applications to the first edition of the 6th Catalogue will be accepted until 14 August 2020.

Applications received after this date will be considered for the next catalogue update which will take place in February 2021.

We are not setting any restrictions in terms of running time, including both short and feature-length films into the Catalogue.
