Olga Beskhmelnytsina holds two Master’s degrees, in international economics and in documentary directing. She has gone from being an assistant to the producer with the Ukrainian Motion Picture Association in 2012 to a line producer with MaGiKa Film in 2013–2016. Today she is a producer with MaGiKa Film and the ESSE Production House.
Her credits include The Living Fire by Ostap Kostyuk (2014, 78 min, Ukraine), which has been recognised at numerous festivals including Hot Docs, Karlovy Vary IFF and the Salem Film Fest, The Dybbuk. A Tale of Wandering Souls by Krzysztof Kopczyński (2015, 86/52 min, Poland, Ukraine, Sweden), Projectionist (2019, 72/52 min, Ukraine, Poland), directed by Yuriy Shylov and awarded at Karlovy Vary IFF, OIFF, BIAFF, Artdocfest, and the short film Anna (2019, 15 min, Ukraine, UK, Israel) directed by Dekel Berenson and awarded at Cannes FF, TIFF, BIFA, shortlisted at BAFTA.
