TICKETS

 

WHICH EVENTS REQUIRE TICKETS

 

Between 20 and 26 March — all screenings in the film programme in the Zhovten, Butterfly DeLux and Kino42 cinemas.

 

Ticket prices: 50 to 90 hryvnias depending on the screening. Festival screenings take place between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. Each ticket gives its holder the right to take any free seat in the audience, except for those reserved by the festival. A single ticket grants access to only one visitor to each screening.

 

On the audience days, between 27 and 29 March, viewers need tickets for the screenings of festival winners and hits. The screenings will take place in the Zhovten Cinema and other locations, of which you will be informed later.

 

FREE ENTRY:

 

- to all festival events in IZONE,

- to DOCU/CLASS events,

- to the Living Library.

 

Please note that to participate in DOCU/PRO events, you need to have industry or festival accreditation. Some festival events require pre-registration or a certain kind of festival accreditation, which is specified in the programme.

 

Access to the festival opening ceremony and the festival awards ceremony is by invitation only.

 

WHERE YOU CAN BUY TICKETS

 

Tickets can be bought at the festival ticket offices and online at the docudays.ua website starting 12 March. The sale or booking of tickets based on passes or accreditation stops 10 minutes before the screening begins.

 

The addresses and opening hours of the festival ticket offices will be reported later.

 

SPECIAL OFFERS

 

FREE TICKETS FOR PENSIONERS, SCHOOL STUDENTS, UFO/ATO VETERANS AND PARTICIPANTS

 

A free ticket for these categories can be obtained at the ticket offices by presenting the relevant valid ID. Please note that only one ticket will be issued per screening. Tickets for several events taking place at the same time cannot be obtained. Tickets are available only in ticket offices the day before or on the day of the screening (not earlier). A valid ID must be presented to the controller while entering the hall.

 

50% DISCOUNT FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

 

To get the discount, you just need to present a student ID at the ticket office. Please note that only one ticket will be issued per screening. Tickets for several events taking place at the same time cannot be obtained. The student ID must be presented to the controller while entering the hall.

 

FREE EVENTS

 

Some screenings in cinemas may be free of charge (this will be indicated in the programme). Viewers will have to obtain free tickets at the festival ticket office or online. A single ticket is issued to each guest. Please note that all screenings in the IZONE human rights programme are free of charge and do not require a ticket.

 

FESTIVAL PASSES

 

Passes are valid between 21 and 29 March. To access a screening, pass holders can just book a seat online or obtain a ticket at the ticket office. To enter the hall, the pass holder has to present their pass to controllers for scanning.

 

WEEKLY PASS

 

Available at:

- the docudays.ua website;

- festival ticket offices starting 12 March.

 

Prices of the pass: UAH 700 (from 3 February to 1 March), UAH 900 (from 2 to 29 March).

 

Advantages:

- ability to book up tickets online starting 12 March;

- ability to book one ticket per screening;

- valid in the Zhovten, Butterfly DeLuz and Kino42 cinemas from 21 to 29 March;

- opportunity to use ‘happy minutes’ if you have not managed to book the ticket on time.

 

Limitations:

- pass holders cannot obtain tickets to several screenings taking place at the same time.

 

DAILY PASS

 

Available at:

- the docudays.ua website; 

- festival ticket offices starting March 12.

 

Price: UAH 300.

 

The pass will be activated for the day when you buy the first ticket with it.

 

Advantages:

- ability to book tickets online starting 12 March for screenings on the same day;

- from 20 March — to book tickets in the ticket offices;

- ability to book one ticket per screening;

- valid in the Zhovten, Butterfly DeLux and Lira cinemas from 21 to 29 March;

- opportunity to use ‘happy minutes’ if you have not managed to book the ticket on time.

 

Limitations:

- pass holders cannot obtain tickets to several events taking place at the same time.

 

SPECIAL OFFER FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

 

Discounts are available for students. Weekly student passes cost 500 hryvnias. Daily passes are available for 150 hryvnias.

 

A valid student ID must be presented at the ticket office to obtain a student pass. Please be ready to present the ID to the controller when entering the cinema hall.

 

FESTIVAL ACCREDITATION

 

Available to:

- invited guests and participants;

- media representatives;

- everyone actively engaged in filmmaking.

 

Advantages:

- ability to book tickets online starting 12 March;

- from 20 March — to book tickets in the ticket offices the day before or on the day of the screening;

- ability to book one ticket per screening;

- valid in the Zhovten  and Butterfly DeLux cinemas from 21 to 29 March;

- opportunity to use ‘happy minutes’ if you have not managed to book the ticket on time;

- if the accreditation badge is lost, you can renew it at the accreditation service with a valid ID.

 

Limitations:

- accreditation holders cannot obtain tickets to several events taking place at the same time;

- all festival badges are personalised, and must not be handed over to third parties;

- should a personalised badge be used by a person other than the holder, it will be withdrawn. A withdrawn badge cannot be retrieved.
