Salome Jashi is a documentary director and producer. Her film Taming the Garden (2021) about a former Georgian prime minister who collects 100-year-old trees was demonstrated at Sundance and Berlinale Forum and nominated for the European Film Awards. In addition, Salome is a founder of two production companies: Sakdoc Film and Microcosmos. Both produce auteur documentaries and feature films.
Selected filmography: Their Helicopter (2006), Bakhmaro (2011), The Dazzling Light of Sunset (2016), Taming the Garden (2021).
The festival pass gives access to the rich Docudays UA offline programme, namely the best documentaries from around the world and meetings with their authors. The 20th Docudays UA will take place on 2–8 June 2023.
2022 pass holders who did not use them during the Docudays UA Special Edition last year can receive a pass for the 20th festival free of charge. If the pass has been used, you can get a 50% discount.
