Victoria Leshchenko

Film curator
Victoria Leshchenko is a producer of cultural events, curator and a head of programming team at Docudays UA. Based in Berlin and Kyiv. In 2003, Victoria received a Master degree in Cultural Studies in the National University “Kyiv Mohyla Academy”. During 2007-2011 she worked in different positions at Molodist KIFF. Since 2010 she has joined Docudays UA International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival as program coordinator and later, from February 2019, was promoted to program director. During this time she has been curating numerous festival sections. In 2022, together with her colleague Yuliia Kovalenko she co-founded the sloїk film atelier – an independent union of Ukrainian film curators that gives space for underrepresented voices and promotes them internationally.
