On 16-25 October the annual Rome film festival takes place in Italy. Unfortunately, there are no Ukrainian films in competition program. However, Ukraine is represented at project market NEW CINEMA NETWORK with the script “Volcano” by Alla Tyutyunnik, Roman Bondarchuk and Darya Averchenko. This is the only project invited from Ukraine. By the way the authors received an award for their script, which was written several years ago, at a literature contest “Coronation of word”. According to the director Roman Bondarchuk, the script changed together with the life in Ukraine, reality of war and veterans of Maidan appeared, but he does not disclose all details.
All in all there are 27 works from different countries of the world taking part in the contest NEW CINEMA NETWORK.
