The Electronic Catalogue of Ukrainian Documentary Films continues the five-year project of the Docudays UA International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival team and the State Film Agency of Ukraine. It aims to promote Ukrainian documentary filmmaking globally and support local film community members in their search for financial aid/ co-producers/ distributors.
Just like in the previous years, but this time in the electronic format, the 6th edition of the Catalogue includes information about completed documentary films and works in progress. From now on, the electronic Catalogue will also be presented in two languages, English and Ukrainian.
At the moment, the Catalogue presents 60 films and film projects, over 120 professionals, and over 60 Ukrainian companies. The detailed search system allows you to search for information about films by their release year, topic, and the stage of production: whether it is a finished film, or it is at the stage of development or production.
In addition, the Catalogue contains information about the companies and institutions in the film industry, as well as profiles of film professionals: directors, producers, DOPs, etc.
The Electronic Catalogue will be updated throughout the year. Applications will be accepted in several rounds. The next rounds of updates to the 6th edition of the Catalogue will take place in the following way:
1st round: the first round of updates to the 6th Catalogue will include projects selected from among the applications submitted before 1 December 2020; the updates will be published online in February 2021;
2nd round: the second round of updates to the 6th Catalogue will include projects selected from among the applications submitted after 1 December 2020 and before 3 March 2021; the updates will be published online in May 2021.
