Docudays UA 2015: Call for submissions is closed!

Today, on 1st December, call for submissions to the 12th Docudays UA International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival is closed.


This year the Selection Committee received more than 500 films. At the end of February the results will be announced to the directors. The whole program of Docudays UA 2015 will be presented on the web-site in March.


Welcomed to compete were documentary films of any genre produced within two years preceding the festival. Competition programs are:

DOCU/LIFE – full-length creative documentaries;

DOCU/RIGHT – full-length documentaries focused on problems with human rights observance;

DOCU/SHORT – documentaries of no more than 45 minutes of running time.

 

The winners will be awarded with money prizes. You can find more information more about last year winners and juries on our web.

The 12th Docudays UA International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival will be held in Kyiv on March 20-25, 2015.

The 11th Docudays UA International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival was held in Kyiv, March 21-28, 2014. Festival venues were Kyiv Cinema House, as well as Kinopanorama and Kyiv cinemas; those were visited by more than 38 thousand viewers who watched 72 incredible documentaries – the best pieces of European and American documentary filmmaking, and brand new Ukrainian works. 63 international participants – from Australia to Russia – took part in the event.
