The (Egg)celerator Lab

Deadline: 6 July 2020

The (Egg)celerator Lab is focused on identifying and supporting nonfiction directors working on their first or second feature-length documentary. This program brings together ten projects, with a special focus on self-identifying women and gender nonconforming directors.

 

2021 (Egg)celerator Lab cohort will receive:

  • $30,000–$40,000 in grant funding for the production of their feature-length film;
  • Monthly mentorship with members of Chicken & Egg Pictures’ senior creative team;
  • Two to three creative retreats focused on career building and creative development;
  • Industry meetings and funder connections; and
  • Peer support from the (Egg)celerator Lab cohort.

Selected projects

The FIDLab is a support platform for international co-production organized by Marseille International Film Festival. It introduces 15 projects’ presentations and the one-to-one meetings online.

The open programme of the first session of Ex Oriente Film 2020 will offer online lectures and case studies by inspiring filmmakers, incuding Emma Davie, Christian Aune Falch and Salomé Jashi among others. You will find all the upcoming live videos here.

DOK Co-Pro Market 2020 Online

Guidelines

The DOK Co-Pro Market is a co-financing and networking event, connecting producers with colleagues to finance new creative documentary projects and granting an exclusive access to the multifaceted German and international non-fiction markets. It introduces an opportunity for filmmakers to connect with decision makers, co-financiers and distributors to help them finance their new project. The DOK Co-Pro Market is open for creative, author-driven documentaries that are in development or early stages of production. However, TV series or one-offs are also welcome to submit.
