Henrik Underbjerg is an advisor for IMS Documentary Film at International Media Support, a media development organisation working to enable local media to reduce conflict, strengthen democracy, and facilitate dialogue. Priority is given to film productions focusing on issues of current affairs, gender equality, cultural diversity and human rights. Henrik also works in producing and has a track record of more than 40 fiction and documentary films, including Khartoum Offside, Aleppo’s Fall, Sepideh, and has won and been nominated for awards at IDFA, Emmy, Sundance, Berlinale, Hot Docs, Grierson, Sheffield, Los Angeles, Nordisk Panorama, Gothenburg, London and Tehran. Henrik is the founder of Stray Dog Productions. He is an EAVE 2003 graduate and has attended the Film Business School and Twelve for the Future. He has a university background in literary history, American studies, and mathematics/economics.
