Mykola Hnatovskyi

Mykola Hnatovskyi is a docent at the International Law Department of the International Relations Institute of the Taras Shevchenko National University in Kyiv. Since 2015, he has been a member of the Interdepartmental Commission on the Application and Implementation of International Humanitarian Law Regulations in Ukraine. Since 2021, he has been a member of the International Expert Council on Crimes Committed During the Armed Conflict under the General Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine, and is president of the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment.

He is a member of the Expert Advisory Board for the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, an international law expert, and a member of the Committee on Migration, Refugees and Population of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. He is also a member of the European Society of International Law and the American Society of International Law.
