Russian propaganda tries to shift responsibility for war crimes onto Ukrainians. One of such crimes is the terrorist attack in Olenivka. On the night of July 28-29, 2022, a building where Russians held Ukrainian prisoners of war was destroyed by an explosion. We cannot take testimony from those who were in this building - they are still in captivity or have perished. Russians did not allow anyone except their propagandists access to the site of the terrorist attack, but that does not mean we should trust their materials. This film is compiled from testimonies of soldiers who were also held captive in Olenivka, interviews with those awaiting the return of their loved ones from captivity, and a few media materials from Mariupol made by eyewitnesses of the events.
