A meeting with the directors of the national competition is by now a regular event of our DOCU/PRO Industry Platform.
This time we are going to talk both about the development of documentary filmmaking in the conditions of the war and about the discoveries made by the authors in the process of working on their films. The event is open to everyone and will be held in person on the last day of the Industry Platform, on 6 June. On the same day, in the evening, the festival’s Awards Ceremony will take place.
The director, screenwriter, and member of the DOCU/WORLD 2024 jury Maryna Stepanska will join the directors Svitlana Lishchynska, Maria Stoianova, Tetiana Dorodnitsyna and Mariia Ponomarova in thinking about the essence of the art of documentary filmmaking together.
