
The Track is a coming-of-age journey of three friends chasing their improbable Olympic dreams in post-war Bosnia.
With the friends training on their bullet-riddled luge track left over from the 1984 Winter Games in Sarajevo, the film asks: Where does a generation go after such destruction?

Ryan Sidhoo is an award-winning documentary director and producer, focusing on projects at the intersection of identity and culture. Before The Track, Ryan produced the feature film Handle with Care, which was nominated for three Canadian Screen Awards, including Best Documentary Feature. The film screened at Hot Docs 2022, won the Audience Award at VIFF 2021, and had its U.S. premiere at Urbanworld 2022 and its European premiere at Tallinn Dark Nights Festival 2022.
Sidhoo won a Webby Award for his directorial work on the series True North, produced by the National Film Board of Canada. He has also created short-form content for various VICE platforms, including Noisey, Vice Sports, and VICELAND. In addition, he has contributed his skills to industry-leading companies such as Pulse Films, Participant Media, Blowback Productions, Viacom, and NBC-Universal.Selected Filmography
