Partners of the Coffee with Partners section at 22 Docudays UA: Open Call Results

21 March 2025

We bring together civic initiatives to do more for the protection and observance of human rights. This year, six powerful reputable NGOs and projects that defend rights and fundamental freedoms, counteract the consequences of Russian armed aggression, and fight for truth, justice and accountability will join us in co-creating Coffee with Partners section at the 22nd Docudays UA. Here, we are announcing the results of the competition.

In February, the Docudays NGO invited civil society organisations to work together on events for one of the discussion platforms of the RIGHTS NOW! human rights programme — Coffee with Partners. This section involves meetings with human rights defenders and activists, as well as discussions on important socio-political issues and experience-sharing in a free format.

Out of nearly two dozen proposals received during the month, we have selected the applications from the following human rights initiatives:

“It is a great honour to work with you, dear human rights defenders, activists and civil society leaders of Ukraine, to raise and advance difficult, important and extremely sensitive human rights issues in these challenging times. Very soon, we will share all the details of what we are preparing together in this year's RIGHTS NOW! programme,” — said Anastasiya Bahalika, Director of the Human Rights Department at the Docudays NGO.

We sincerely thank all the organizations that submitted applications for their dedication to addressing pressing issues and seeking solutions. We wish you success in protecting human rights and building an active civil society, and we look forward to fruitful cooperation with future partners!
