In this article, we are sharing the names of documentary film projects that were awarded within the RAW DOC showcase.

 

DAE SPECIAL ENCOURAGEMENT AWARD, which gives one off consultation for international packaging:

ROUGH CUT SERVICE AWARD. The award includes two free consultations for the selected project with acclaimed editor Niels Pagh Andersen, who has years of experience, and another member of the Rough Cut Service team.

SUSPILNE UKRAINE AWARD, which givesfinancial support in the amount of 50,000 UAH for the final stage of documentary production from Suspilne Movlenia/Public Broadcasting, along with the opportunity for broadcast on Suspilne (non-exclusive public communication rights for airing the completed documentary on Suspilne’s channels and digital platforms under the terms specified in the respective agreements, valid for one year within the territory of Ukraine).

 

For the delicate balance of ethics and honesty, conveyed through impeccable cinematic language, and for the courage to share a traumatic experience — one that, once overcome, fortifies the unity of fearless women.

RAW DOC is a showcase created for filmmakers who are working on rough cuts of their films and want to screen them to international industry experts for professional feedback. During closed screenings, participants will have the opportunity to connect with potential partners, including representatives of European public broadcasters, sales agents, and film festivals.
