Two families in Rome and Kyiv raising children with autism spectrum disorders.

Autism is not a disease, but a condition with which one is born. Autism is a lifelong feature of brain development which affects communication and relationships with other people, perception and understanding of the surrounding world. The film’s protagonists are two families who are bringing up children with autism spectrum disorders. The plot focuses on two mothers and their sons (10 and 15). The women are friends, share their difficulties and joys, support each other even though they live in different countries. The film about autism addresses not only the community whose families it has touched, but society as a whole. It is an invitation to each audience member to understand, have tolerance and expand their outlook.
