With a camera in hand, Zhanna captures life in Radvanka, a Roma neighborhood in Uzhhorod, as war keeps her sons away and leaves her home - and her sense of belonging - suspended in uncertainty.
Zhanna, a 50-year-old Roma street cleaner, lives in Radvanka, a neighborhood in Uzhhorod, the western Ukrainian city. Filming her life with a camera shared by the film’s director, she captures a fragile world shaped by loss and resilience. As she struggles to finish her home, setbacks follow - illness, job loss, and her partner leaves her, stealing her jewelry, only to return. Her sons are marked by war: one at the front, the other adjusting after 12 years in the army. Moving between the settlement and the city, Zhanna connects different worlds while facing persistent prejudice, searching for her place and holding onto dignity, faith, and hope.
