A story about the deportation of over 480,000 Ukrainians from the territory of modern south-eastern Poland in 1944–1946.

This is a story about the forced displacement of 800,000 Poles from the Ukrainian SSR and 480,000 Ukrainians from the territory of modern Poland, carried out at Moscow’s orders. The facts are presented through real memories of victims of the forced deportation. The plot unfolds around the fate of a mother and a daughter from a Ukrainian village in the Chelm area who were separated during the displacement. They meet again after many years have passed, due to a lucky incident. We witness a candid dialogue between a mature woman who lost her child and a lost little girl who was left without a family.
