The film essay consists of personal photo archives and narration by the author, who explores the collective and personal memory of the Soviet experience.

The film consists of diaries and photos from the year 1937, which were bought at a flea market in Kharkiv. Why do people refuse to acknowledge their own memory of Soviet experience? Is it possible to recreate a historical age through personal stories, and what is more important, collective or personal memory? Where does the intersection point between personal and collective experience lie? This documentary is the search for answers to the posed questions.
