Description
Silmviburlane, founded in 2006 by Heilika and Ülo Pikkov, is a small and mobile film production company in Tallinn, which produces documentary and animation films. In 2017 Silmviburlane co-produced Estonian-Danish stop-motion animation Letting Go, which was one of the two winners of ANIDOX Residency with the support of the European Capital of Culture Aarhus. In the frame of Estonia 100 film programme Silmviburlane released Roots, a collection of short documentaries by 6 female directors, which was awarded at the Estonian Film and Television Awards and selected to several international film festivals like HotDocs, Galway, Lübeck, and others.
