Liza Pyrozhkova was born in Kyiv into a family of artists. A graduate of Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University, now she is a professional photographer and cinematographer.
With over a decade of experience, Liza works with documentary and artistic audiovisual projects within the film industry and journalism. She participates in art exhibitions and cultural events.
She is a participant in the laboratory for young documentary filmmakers, Indie Lab 2021 (The trap), and 2023 (Hello, I`m on the hill).
Since 2022, she has been contributing to media projects. In particular, she works as a cinematographer for the English-language media about Ukraine, The Kyiv Independent.
