Biography

Anastasia (Tasia) Puhach is an executive producer, PR and social media specialist, press secretary for film and media events.

She graduated from Donetsk National University (2008) and has a master's degree in international relations (diploma with honors) and a bachelor's degree (with honors). Studied at PostPlay Theater — School of Fast Drama (2019, class of Anastasiia Kosodii and Maksim Kurochkin). Visited workshops and film markets for documentary Filmmakers such as Beldocs Pitching Forum (2023), The Baltic Sea Docs (2023), Sunny Side of the Doc in Nature & Conservation section (2023), CEDOC Market (2023), CUTTING EDGE PITCHING; Documentary Industry Days of Odesa IFF in Gdynia, Poland (2023), Winter Film Market OIFF (2024), EFM (2024), Eurodoc (2024, as a part of the Ukrainian group).  

Since 2023 executive director, executive producer of UP UA STUDIO (documentary projects Divia by Dmytro Hreshko, Antarctica: War DiariesWoman of Ukraine).

From September 2023, she is the Head of Press Service of Molodist Kyiv International Film Festival. 

Ukrainian PR agent for the film Forever-Forever by Anna Burachkova, which premiered at Venice Film Festival. Ukrainian Media agent for the documentary film We Will Not Fade Away by Alisa Kovalenko. Organized a promotional campaign in the Ukrainian mass media for the film before its world premiere at the Berlinale International Film Festival in February 2023. She also organised the premiere and provided PR services for the film Break the Circle by Elizaveta Smith supported by UNFPA. PR agent for films released in Ukrainian cinemas by 86PROKAT distribution company, films: As Far As Possible, Blindfold.

Organizer of Ukraine Known Unknown — a project of Ukrainian Film Festival Berlin, sponsored by Vidnova program. Executive producer of the big event of the opening of Ukrainian Institute in Berlin (exclusively created performance, exhibition, and live concert). In 2022, she worked with the Ukrainian Film Festival Berlin (social media, PR, compilation of programs).

She was the Head of PR of Mykolaychuk Audience Film Festival (June 2022-March 2024). She worked as a PR manager of Film Industry Association of Ukraine (2021), PR & Programme Director of Kinovernissage. Open-air cinema in Kyiv (2021-2020), PR manager of Geneva Call project dedicated to the war in Donbas (2020).

From 2018, she has been cooperating with Kharkiv MeetDocs International Film Festival as a public relations coordinator. In 2020, she joined the organizing committee of the film festival. Head of the press service of Molodist Kyiv International Film Festival (2017 - 2018). Press secretary (2015-2017), co-director of the Theatre of Displaced People (2017-2019). Press secretary of the Class Act: East-West project (2016-2018) by Natalya Vorozhbyt.
