Valeria Sochyvets is a member of the Ukrainian Film Academy, of the European Film Academy, of the Ukrainian Oscar Committee, of Berlinale and Sarajevo Talents 2023. In 2015, she founded an NGO Contemporary Ukrainian Cinema. In 2017, she founded a Contemporary Ukrainian Cinema LLC. Valeria produced a number of films that took part in many international film festivals, such as Rotterdam IFF, San Sebastian IFF, Sarajevo IFF, POFF Shorts, Clermont-Ferrand, Tampere, and won over 30 awards and nominations. La Palisada was nominated for the European Film Academy in the category Discovery Prix-FIPRESCI 2023.

The festival pass gives access to the rich Docudays UA offline programme, namely the best documentaries from around the world and meetings with their authors. The 20th Docudays UA will take place on 2–8 June 2023.
2022 pass holders who did not use them during the Docudays UA Special Edition last year can receive a pass for the 20th festival free of charge. If the pass has been used, you can get a 50% discount. From 30 May: Pass price: UAH 1,200. Student pass: UAH 700.
