Maria Stoianova is a Ukrainian documentary film director and editor. She was born and currently works in Kyiv. She graduated from the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (degree in Cultural Studies) and the Central European University (degree in Sociology and Social Anthropology). In 2018, she finished her studies at the Sergey Bukovsky Film Program. Creating her film works, Maria Stoianova actively works with vernacular videos and public and private archives. Her films participated in international film festivals such as Ji.hlava IDFF, DOK Leipzig, FIDMarseille and many others. Fragments of Ice (2024) is her feature-length debut.

The festival pass gives access to the rich Docudays UA offline programme, namely the best documentaries from around the world and meetings with their authors. The 20th Docudays UA will take place on 2–8 June 2023.
2022 pass holders who did not use them during the Docudays UA Special Edition last year can receive a pass for the 20th festival free of charge. If the pass has been used, you can get a 50% discount.
