Biography

Halyna is a Ukrainian director, producer and cultural manager. She was born in Kaniv, Cherkasy region, in 1991. After getting a magister's degree in Karpenko-Karyi Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinema, and Television speciality Directing a documentary film, she studied Wajda School (PL), documentary programme DOC PRO, 2016-2017. Participant of the International Photography Festival European Month Of Photography Berlin (2018). 

Halyna is a member of the Directors Guild of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Film Academy. Since 2015 member of #BABYLON'13 – documentary collective.

        Festival Pass

        The festival pass gives access to the rich Docudays UA offline programme, namely the best documentaries from around the world and meetings with their authors. The 21st Docudays UA will take place on 31 May – 9 June 2024.

        From 3 May: Pass price: UAH 800.
        Student pass: UAH 500.

        From 30 May: Pass price: UAH 1,200. Student pass: UAH 700.

        To purchase the pass, please enter your given name and surname, email, and phone number. If the payment was successful, you will receive an email with the necessary information and a certificate. The certificate will not indicate your name or surname.

        *If you are a student, please indicate the number of your student ID during the purchase. You will also have to present your student ID as you receive your pass.
