Igor graduated from the National University of Kyiv with a Master’s in Mathematics. In 2009, Igor went through the New York Film Academy's Workshop and many other training programmes later. Igor started his career as a writer after years of successful journalism but quickly became a producer.
A member of ACE Producers, the European Film Academy, the Ukrainian Film Academy, and a part of the European Producers Club.
Igor produced 13 feature films, about 40 shorts, 9 feature documentaries and 3 TV shows.
The last seven consecutive films have received their premieres at Class A festivals (26 times with 7 awards). The recent one was a box office hit in Ukraine. Igor was actively involved in developing the screenplays for most of these films. His best-known are: The Glass House (a feature film by Taras Dron), When the Trees Fall (a feature film by Marysia Nikitiuk) , The Forgotten (a feature film by Daria Onyschenko), The Painted Bird (a feature film by Vaclav Marhoul), Brama/The Gateway (a feature film by Volodymyr Tykhyy), Voices from Chornobyl (a documentary by Pol Cruchten).
Igor is one of the founders of the Babylon’13 documentary project that has been cinematically chronicling Ukraine’s civil society, from the Maidan to the Russo-Ukrainian war, since 2013 (more than 900 films).
