Louis Beaudemont

Biography
After studying in France (political science, history of Soviet cinema), the UK and Russia (public administration), Louis Beaudemont began his career as project manager for Franco-Russian university cooperation at the French Embassy in Moscow. On his return to France, he worked for the documentary production company Les Poissons Volants, as production assistant and assistant director, on unit, series and virtual reality projects. He then founded Les Steppes Productions with Nicolaï Yarochenko to devote himself to the production of auteur documentaries, seeking to make this format a laboratory of forms for a wide audience, favouring authors wishing to convey an artistic, social and/or political message in the zeitgeist. A close friend of Ukrainian and Belarusian filmmakers, Louis is now trying to support the voices that will shape the post-war reconstruction of the world. At the same time, Louis is working on the artistic and immersive exhibition projects of the Franco-Algerian artist Neil Beloufa, seeking to use new technologies to create a new relationship between producers and consumers of cultural works.
