Biography

Zhora Papoian is a Ukrainian director, producer, and screenwriter. He was born in Mariupol. Papoian is an alumnus of the FLEX exchange program (2018–2019, Charleston, West Virginia) and a member of the ELIA UAx Abakanowicz scholarship program (2023–present). In 2024, he graduated from the National Academy of Arts and worked as an assistant director, screenwriter, and film editor at the KinoArtil studio (2024–2025). He is a participant and award winner of film festivals, including Odesa International Film Festival (OIFF), LIFT, Doc Kyiv Fest, and others.
