Biography

Vladyslav Vasylchenko is a ukrainian film director. Born in Kyiv. Graduated from Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University. From 2014 to 2016, he took part in the Anti-Terrorist Operation in the East of Ukraine as a volunteer soldier. From April 2018 to February 2022, he was the director-in-chief of Suspilne Culture TV Channel (Suspilne Ukraine). Since 2022, after the Russian full-scale invasion, joined the team of Suspilne’s investigation journalism unit.
