The number of the International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival Docudays UA viewers is growing every year. Thus we have decided to make a present for them and extend the number of festival’s days: Docudays UA-2014 will last for over a week, from March 21 through 28.
Docudays UA-2014 also extends the number of full-length competition films in each category (DOCU/LIFE and DOCU/RIGHT) up to 10. In total, over 400 films were submitted. The results are to be announced on February 20, 2014.
Non-competition program includes:
Ukrainian documentary films;
The best from international human rights documentary film festivals;
Creative documentaries;
Retrospective screenings;
International Documentary Filmmaking Workshop;
Special events (conferences, round tables, thematic sections, master classes by leading experts in documentary filmmaking and human rights, discussions, seminars, workshops, photo exhibitions, etc.).
Traditionally, the Docudays UA festival center is Kyiv’s Cinema House.
