Documentarian: Russian premiere of a Docudays UA winner

22 February 2014

DOKer, a project from Moscow, Russia, in cooperation with the International Documentary Human Rights Film Festival Docudays UA present Russian premiere of Documentarian (Latvia, 2012, 82’), a film by Inese Kļava and Ivars Zviedris.

At the 10th Docudays UA, the film won the First prize of the Student jury and a special award of the DOCU/LIFE program.

There’re only two characters, she and he. He is a director and cameraman, Ivars Zviedris, and she is a healer, Inta, who is not particularly okay with his intention to film a story about her. The result is an amazing and somewhat paradoxical journey through the relationship between the director and his character; it is an exciting story, full of drama and irony, about love and hatred, emotional surges, endless quarrels and reconciliations.

February 25, 7 PM

Address: Moscow, Nikitskiy Bulvar, 8A. Tickets available for 100 RUB.
