Made in China

Duration
60’

China has always been in focus recently, and even more so in the light of the current pandemic, as COVID-19 started here. It is unclear though whether the Chinese epidemic has declined due to the elaborate management and strict discipline or, on the contrary, has spread around the world because of the cover-up of important facts. The opinions on this matter have divided, because we still have stereotypical thinking about China.

We invite you to watch documentary films that touch upon certain stereotypes that persist in the world: the Chinese bring only Communism to other continents, women in China still suffer from the birth control policies, and almost all intellectuals were exterminated during the Cultural revolution.

Is it really so? You might be surprised.
