Dorothée Lorang was born in 1985. She lives and works in Nantes, France. She has a degree in fine arts from the National School of Nantes. During her studies, she took part in Hashiru Kanazawa’s residency project in Japan. This experience resulted in two films about Japanese youth that she directed in collaboration with David Beautru, City Lights and Hikikomori.

David Beautru
David Beautru was born in 1983. He lives and works in Nantes, France. David holds a degree in fine arts form the National School of Nantes and a degree in visual communication. Since 2008, he has been working as a film editor for the Nantes artist Pierrick Sorin and as a filmmaker in different projects.
