What kind of stories work for short running time? Who selects shorts for festival screenings and how? How do filmmakers imagine their audience and who actually attends screenings in real life? These and other questions about short documentaries will be discussed by Zhanna Ozirna and Darya Levcheko, festival programmers who care about short films.

Participant: Darya Levchenko is a festival programmer, cultural manager, researcher and translator. Since 2023, she has been curating the New Talents program for the PÖFF Shorts section of the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival.

Moderator: Zhanna Ozirna, film director and screenwriter, member of the Ukrainian Film Academy and the Ukrainian Directors’ Guild.
