In 1968 Brazil’s military government passed a law that ushered in the most violent period of the dictatorship. The meeting was recorded, but remained secret for decades. The documentary combines these audio tracks with propaganda films of the time.

João Pedro Bim is a film producer and researcher from São Paulo, Brazil. He’s a partner in the production company A Flor e a Náusea, and he produced the Social Housing documentary series: Projects of Brazil (2019), the multi-award-winning short films Liberty (2018) and Still Agony (2018), and the feature Panorama (2021), and was associate producer of the commercially-distributed feature The Young Baumann (2018). He also works as an archival footage researcher for documentary features and series. In 2023 Bim debuted as director with the documentary feature Behind Closed Doors.
