Oleksandra Horienko is a filmmaker born in Dnipro. She is currently pursuing a degree in Film Editing (Mykola Bazarkin workshop) at the Karpenko-Kary Kyiv National University of Theater, Cinema and Television. She also studied cultural management at the DCCC Art Center.
She is developing a documentary film, Professional Destroyers of the Russian Economy, as part of the Indie Lab and participating in international workshops for documentarians, including Ji.hlava Academy, AZIL, and WAMA IFF.
Her debut film Uzhhorod, to the Shelter was shown at international festivals, including Vienna Shorts, Ivano-Frankivsk International Short Film Festival 4:3, UKRAINA! Film Festival, and others.
Currently, Oleksandra worksat UpUa Studio, a production company specializing in creative documentary and feature films. She is also preparing to shoot her debut full-length documentary film +7, a Ukrainian-Swedish co-production. The film explores the phenomenon of fraud in Ukraine, focusing on manipulation mechanisms and the social foundations of the issue. In her stories, the director combines a satirical style with an analysis of the subtle impacts of war on modern Ukrainian society.
The festival pass gives you access to the Docudays UA-2025 program. With it, you will be able to attend screenings of the best documentaries from all over the world and meetings with their authors at the best price.
This year, we offer a choice of three types of festival passes: classic, student and morning. The classic pass is valid from June 6 to June 13 at Zhovten Cinema and KINO42, while the morning pass allows you to book tickets for film screenings that start no later than 16:30 at Zhovten Cinema from June 7 to June 13.

Student pass — UAH 700.
Morning pass — UAH 500.
From 30 May:
Classic pass — UAH 1200.

If you are a student at school or university, please indicate your student ID number. Internally displaced persons who are studying and do not have such a document can indicate the IDP certificate number.
Upon successful payment, you will receive an electronic certificate. The holder of this certificate will receive the festival pass starting from May 28. If you wish, you may request a printed badge — both forms are functionally equivalent.
