Projects Selected for the RAW DOC 2025 Showcase

16 May 2025

We are excited to announce the projects that have been selected by the Docudays UA team to participate in the RAW DOC showcase as part of this year’s industry platform.

  • Another Man's Diary (director Oleksandr Tkachenko, videodiary author and DOP Dmytro Dokunov, producer Illia Gladshtein, co-producer Antoine Goldet);
  • Traces (directors Alisa Kovalenko and Marysia Nikitiuk, producers Olha Bregman and Natalia Libet, co-producer Dariusz Jablonski);
  • Its Not A Full Picture (director Marina Stepanska, producer Julia Sinkevych, co-producers Rodrigo Areias and Paula Vaccaro).
RAW DOC participating projects have the opportunity to receive prizes from showcase partners:
  • A screening of the rough cut film with the team at KINO42 cinema;
  • Financial support in the amount of 50,000 UAH for the final stage of documentary production from Suspilne Movlenia/Public Broadcasting, along with the opportunity for broadcast on Suspilne (non-exclusive public communication rights for airing the completed documentary on Suspilne’s channels and digital platforms under the terms specified in the respective agreements, valid for one year within the territory of Ukraine);

  • A free editing consultation from the Rough Cut Service team.

The showcase will take place during the DOCU/PRO Industry Platform, where participants will watch the rough cuts of the films in a cinema and take part in a moderated conversation together with the attending experts. The event will be held in a closed format. Only specially invited experts and participating teams will have access.

RAW DOC is a showcase created for filmmakers who are working on rough cuts of their films and want to screen them to international industry experts for professional feedback. During closed screenings, participants will have the opportunity to connect with potential partners, including representatives of European public broadcasters, sales agents, and film festivals.
