Yevhen Hlibovytsky

Yevhen Hlibovytsky is a co-founder and CEO of the Frontier Institute, an organization that conceptualizes Ukraine’s strategic challenges in the areas of security, culture, demography, and public governance, a member of the Supervisory Board of Ukraine’s Public Broadcasting Company “Suspilne”, and the head of the appointments committee. He also teaches at the Ukrainian Catholic University.

Born in Lviv, he graduated from Kyiv-Mohyla Academy with a degree in political science and later studied law at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and philosophy at Bluffton University in Ohio, USA.

He began his career in journalism by working for the publications “Post-Postup” and “Kievskie Vedomosti”, at Radio Promin, and at the TV companies “1+1” and “First National” (“Pershyi Natsionalnyi”). He also co-developed the Channel 5 concept and co-founded Hromadske TV.

A former OSCE expert on media development in Central Asia and the Caucasus, he is currently involved in shaping strategic programs for cities and the state.

In 2007, Hlibovytsky founded the analytical company pro.mova, which conducts research on values and long-term trends.

In 2024, he was included in NV magazine's list of the 30 most influential opinion leaders in Ukraine.
