As the famous Hutsul blogger, Nazariy begins to distance himself from his traditional family, spending his days in the forest collecting mushrooms and filming wildlife. Like his father, he falls into workaholism — a common Ukrainian tendency.
2021. Nineteen-year-old Nazariy, a Hutsul from the mountains, films himself foraging for mushrooms and setting up trail cameras for his YouTube blog. Viewers love his authenticity and infectious enthusiasm. He kisses mushrooms, exclaims, “What a beauty!” and finds joy when wildlife appears on camera. His wonder contrasts with his father’s absence — a shop owner often away for work. Nazariy grows up, he faces a choice: wartime content or nature exploration? Ignoring his father’s wish to take over the family business, Nazariy builds a personal brand and launches unique products. Despite success, he mirrors his father’s workaholism, questioning if he’s truly on the right path.
