TABOR is an independent production company, founded by a group of Ukrainian filmmakers in 2013. Embodying the author's vision, they create fiction and documentary films, theater performances, and social ads. Their films have been screened and awarded at film festivals all over the world, including IDFA, Berlinale, DOK Leipzig, Docudays UA, Raindance, Festival Dei Popoli, and others.
Tabor's projects were supported by Eurimages, the Ukrainian State Film Agency, the IDFA Bertha Fund, the Ukrainian Cultural Fund, the Doha Film Institute, and Latvian, Czech, Croatian, and Swedish Film Centres.
Theatrical performances made by Tabor have been presented at leading Ukrainian contemporary art festivals.
Moreover, a considerable part of Tabor`s activity is geared towards cultural volunteering, giving rise to unique productions like the film School #3 (2017), which was presented at the Generation 14+ program of Berlinale 67 and awarded the Grand Prix by the international jury and This Rain Will Never Stop (2020), won the Award for Best First Appearance at IDFA, the Best Feature award at Festival dei Popoli, Go East, One World (Jeden svět), Ice Docs IFF, Las Palmas IFF, Beldocs IFF, etc.
Their last film Butterfly vision by Maksym Nakonechnyi premiered at Cannes 2022 in the Un Certain Regard competition.
