Biography

Tetiana Symon is a Ukrainian director, an actor coach, a casting director, 1AD. She studied at Karpenko-Karyi Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinema and Television, majoring in directing. In 2015, she made her debut short film Trash. After that, she worked as an actors coach and casting director on world-known Ukrainian films, such as Volcano, Atlantis, and Klondike, as a 1AD on Reflection, and many others.

Currently, Tetiana is working on the Ukrainian War Archive project, which was created by the Docudays UA team. Tetiana is a manager of the direction of interviewing witnesses of war crimes, where she and her team gathered more than 800 interviews since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Among other things, the archive's work has resulted in a series of films, Witnesses.
