In rural solitudes, elderly self-taught Ukrainian artist lives with his wife. He is obsessed with creativity painting his pictures (distantly resembling Chagall) and carving wood figurines, mostly women. Paint them, defining women's charms very relatively. His art has no addresses and no customers. Creator frankly says about his work: "I such a way I only save myself.” The artist does not need fame and is not looking for contact with people at all. In one of the episodes, protagonist says about his admiration for to King Crimson group especially their early records: "When you hear this, you understand that this is really the truth. There is what you should live for. There is what you should defend.” Indeed, in relations between people the truth loses its absolute value.
