Verzio

The only human rights documentary film festival in Hungary, Verzio, is organized Verzio Film Foundation and OSA Archivum annually in November since 2004. Verzio FF uses the powerful medium of film to promote tolerance and heighten public awareness about human rights. It seeks to promote open society, democracy, rule-of-law, tolerance, political and cultural pluralism as well as to expose human rights violations around the world. Verzio works towards creating a forum where films, viewpoints and interpretations are examined creatively and critically, and aims at promoting the use of documentaries in teaching and involving the general public in debates on challenges facing humanity.
