Meet the new DOCUSPACE!

11 January 2021

We are starting the new year with incredible news: we are happy to present the updated DOCUSPACE online cinema, which is now more accessible and user-friendly.

The Docudays UA team has met last year’s challenge in searching for new formats and continued to work on improving the online cinema. Under last year’s quarantine, DOCUSPACE became a platform for the online festival. Throughout the year, it entertained documentary cinema lovers with additional screenings, Ukrainian premieres, online meetings about cinema and human rights.

From now on, DOCUSPACE combines not just the opportunity to watch contemporary documentary films, but also to become a part of the festival community and join its projects. Discover documentary films as a driver of important social change.

In addition, this is the first festival project with improved web accessibility: special website regimes for people with vision impairments, as well as an option of adapted subtitles. These subtitles allow people with hearing impairments to get more immersed in the film’s atmosphere and better follow its content.

LEARN about the characteristics of the DOCUSPACE online cinema.

How can you watch a film? Can you watch films free of charge? When can you expect new releases?

WATCH high-quality documentaries from Ukraine and the world.

Watch relevant documentary films carefully selected by a team of Docudays film programme curators.

DISCUSS relevant topics during conversations about films.

Each of the releases in the DOCUSPACE cinema is accompanied by meetings about the key problems covered in the film and ways to solve them. The conversations involve international film professionals and specialists in various fields related to the film’s topic.
